Liquid Net Worth

Liquid Net Worth counts only the assets that can be converted to cash quickly, typically within a few days, minus all liabilities. It excludes property, jewellery and locked retirement funds like EPF and PPF, since none of those can be sold or withdrawn on short notice.
It matters most in an emergency. A person with a ₹2 crore Net Worth made up mostly of a home and provident fund could still struggle to raise ₹1 lakh quickly. Liquid Net Worth is the more honest number for answering what could actually be accessed right now.
